Ghorepani Trek is short and beautiful trek, which is a part of the famous Annapurna Route. It passes through the Gurung villages of Landruk and Ghandruk, and offers the magnificent views of the Annapurna Range, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri and Macchapuchhre. The trek offers breathtaking panoramic scenery of the amazing hills, villages and Himalayas.
As it is an easy route, which goes through the awesome jaw dropping mountains terrain, rhododendron forest, cascade waterfalls and typical Gurung village. Due to the economical, time friendly and easiest route of trekking, this trek has been a popular trek for beginners, and families. This trek offers the perfect glimpse of the majestic snowcapped mountains and the scenery.
We will initiate the trek from Nayapul to reach the beautiful Gurung village, Ghandruk, We can observe Annapurna range and Machhapurhhre from here.
Day 01: Arrival.
On arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, our representative will be there to receive you. Meet assist and Transfer to Hotel.
Day 02: Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara and drive to Nayapul 4 hours walk to Ghandruk;
We will take an early morning flight to Pokhara, the beautiful city of lakes. After having some rest, we will drive about 1 & half hours to Nayapul then short walk to Ghandruk, a beautiful Gurung village. We can visit museum or explore the village and get closer to Gurung culture and traditions. Most of the men from this village are in Gurkha Army. It offers the view of Annapurna range and Machhapuchhre.
Day 03: Ghandruk to Tadapani (2630m): Trek (3-4) hrs.
Tadapani is in the Annapurna region, surrounded by the Rhohdodendron forest. The national flower of Nepal. The trek will be easy and we will go through the forest areas, which provide a classic view of the flora and fauna along with the Langur monkeys.
Day 04: Tadapani to Ghorepani (2850m): Trek (4-5) hrs.
In the past, the traders used to rest their horses as they found water for their horses. Hence, the village was named Ghorepani. “Ghoda” meaning Horse and “Pani” meaning water. It is one of the beautiful village and just an hour away is a great viewpoint, Poonhill. From poonhill, you can observe the magnificent panoramic view of the Annapurna Ranges and Dhaulagiri.
Day 05: Ghorepani to Hile (1490m): Trek (4-5) hrs.
Early in the morning, we hike about an hour upto PoonHill (3193 m). From Poonhill we can observe the panoramic view of the Annapurna Ranges, Dhaulagiri and Machhapuchre and many other amazing trekking peaks. We can enjoy the beautiful sunrise over the tolerable Himalayas. Then after breakfast, we will walk down hill to Hile.
Day 06: Hile to Nayapul (3 Hrs) & drive to Pokhara
After Breakfast, we walk a short and easy walk to Nayapul for 3 hrs. From here, we will drive towards Pokhara. In Pokhara, we will walk around the lakeside or explore the city.
